Republicans were able to circulate a vague tweet of support for Paul Pelosi, a man who was sold out not only by former President Trump, but by elected Republicans, inspired by his speech.
CNN The election was stolen and the attacker denied the January 6 attack and reported his obsession with Republicans:
Last year, David DePape posted on his Facebook page links to several videos produced by My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell claiming the 2020 election was rigged. Other posts contained hateful images and linked to websites claiming that Covid-19 vaccines are deadly. One post reads, “The spreading death rate is what ‘they’ want to see as a high death rate.”
DePape also posted links to YouTube videos titled “Democrat FARCE Commission to Investigate January 6th Capitol Riot in Congress!!!” and “Global Elites Plan to Control Your Money! (Revealed)”
Republicans managed to squeeze the very backbone of their post-Trump leadership by politely saying, ‘Hey, violence is not good.’

This is not how a leader goes about appeasing his base.
A true leader says: “The election wasn’t stolen, you’re not being targeted, there was a deadly terrorist attack instigated by Donald Trump on January 6th that left police officers dead and leaving the force. Your vote counts. Covid vaccines aren’t killing people. Trans people won’t raise your children.” , the truth about slavery won’t hurt you, and the Democrats won’t ruin your way of life.
But if they say all this, how will they get out of the election? And so they care.
This is not a gotcha as a hot take. It’s really overdue.
This country is still reeling from the impact of Trump’s Jan. 6 domestic terrorist attack, partly because Republicans decided not only to defend it, but to lionize the attackers. They do this because they are cowards who put their own power in the interest of the country.
Yes, it’s been a long road to get here – filled with hyperbole, threats, downright political terrorism and lots of conspiracy theories.

Some of these ads feature Republican shots at Speaker Nancy Pelosi, President Joe Biden and others.
There are too many examples to list, but here are a few:
In an ad released during the February 2022 Super Bowl, Arizona Senate candidate Jim Lamon is on the show with President Joe Biden, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Lamon fired on the Democrats and disarmed them, forcing them to flee the city.
In the year In an August 2021 ad, Mike Collins uses a gun to blast “Nancy Pelosi’s Plan for America.” He then said: “Conservatives have been floundering for too long thanks to spineless politicians, and it’s time to fight back.” And if you thought I was going to fight the Democrats, think again. Because swamp season is also RINO season,” before shooting at the cartoon rhinoceros.
In a recent July 2022 ad, Jeron Davison uses an AR-15 to threaten “a dozen angry Democrats in the Klan Code.”
A March 2022 ad explains that Josh Clark is carrying a gun, giving away an AR-15 every week until the election “to ensure Georgians are ready to protect their families and fight against tyranny and evil when necessary… foreign and domestic.” The ad then shows Clark firing the AR-15 at targets. , the children and others taking turns firing the weapon.
If it’s not clear that Republicans continue to be cowed by the attacks on Paul Pelosi’s own speech on surgery and by their own party leaders, this is the same party that is running these ads below – these vicious, ugly, disgusting ads.
So it’s hard to argue that political terrorism-level violence isn’t a big part of the Republican Party brand.
Conservative David Frum put it right.

A buffoon who thinks being in bed with the gun lobby and creating weapons of mass destruction will lead to violence in order to pamper you on your Christmas card.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Republican of California, said of Pelosi, “I want you to watch Nancy Pelosi give me that gavel. It’s going to be hard not to hit her.”
oh That’s totally normal.
That’s what it takes to “win” with the crowd – threaten to hurt a woman because you have different policy ideas.
It’s not as if Pelosi’s party tried to kill Kevin by instigating and participating in a coup against their country, as Kevin’s party did against America and Speaker Pelosi – before being forced to share the idea of impeaching the Speaker. So what is the justification for such thinking?
Still, we hear nothing of the sort from Pelosi herself, or from Republican former Vice President Pence, who is also a target for assassination by Trump’s terrorists.
Republicans are going to put the most dangerous Republicans into big positions of power by controlling at least one part of Congress.
That is not a party that acknowledges or sympathizes with the January 6th terrorist attack or even the role they played in the January 6th terrorist attack on Paul Pelosi, intended for the speaker herself.
The media won’t be held accountable so we have to do it ourselves. The best way to hold Republicans accountable is at the ballot box. Vote early, get others to vote on Election Day, voter protection work and talk to your community about what’s at stake.
We cannot allow the Republicans to continue this reign of terror.
