The common moral claim that the average American consumes (say) ninety times more than the average Asian or African (where X is some natural resource) may be seen as irrelevant in this context. So does the average American creates More “natural” resource X than the average African or Asian – on average, the wealth is equal or greater than that of Americans compared to Asians and Africans.
DBXAs Simon argues, including what we call “natural” and even “non-renewable” – Produced Natural creations from various atomic and molecular arrangements through human ingenuity and effort. No atomic or molecular arrangement is automatic – no arrangement is calculated and guaranteed Naturally Being – wealth. They must creatively figure out how to use that arrangement to become a human asset to satisfy human purpose. And how to do it in a way that is useful to people.
