The common moral claim that the average American consumes (say) ninety times more than the average Asian or African (where X is some natural resource) may be seen as irrelevant in this context. So does the average American creates More “natural” resource X than the average African or Asian – on average, the wealth is equal or greater than that of Americans compared to Asians and Africans.
