The Republican obsession with Hunter Biden’s laptop has led to Americans to stop wasting their time investigating.
In a new PPP issued by the Congressional Accountability Project:
63 percent of voters (and 63 percent of independents) say they prefer Congress to focus on issues like spending and health care rather than investigating the Biden administration.
● The same 61% of voters (and 60% of independents) want Congress to focus on issues like spending increases and health care, and for Congress to spend time investigating President Biden’s family and Hunter Biden’s laptop.
● 86 percent of voters agree with the statement that they want their elected leaders to stop party games and work together to solve their problems, while 74 percent strongly agree.
Hunter Biden’s track, which plays well with Fox News, Newsmax and the conservative media, is blowing up with the rest of the country. Most Americans do not want to waste their time and money investigating President Biden and his son’s laptop.
The Republican group of the House tried to inject the needle The story of Hunter Biden It failed to reach the broader political discourse. The American people don’t care. Polls have consistently shown that trying to find or create a Biden scandal is not a priority for most Americans.
If House Republicans want to keep their majority, they would be wise to reverse course and end the impeachment of Biden. With Republicans unlikely to find the will to rule, Republicans are setting the stage for Democrats to take back the House in 2024.
