Stephen Colbert wants Fox News personalities to come on air and apologize for pushing election lies for Trump.
Stephen Colbert Video:
Colbert said: “I think it’s great for Dominion that Rupert is making a lot of money, but it doesn’t do anything for our democracy. We need Fox News personalities to look straight into the camera and admit to lying over and over again.” Again about the 2020 election, and then they threw themselves at Mount Doom.

The Late Show host was right. There is something unsatisfying about publicly disbelieving that Fox News has harmed democracy, harmed our country and knowingly lied to millions of viewers.
It is not good for democracy if Rupert Murdoch writes a big check and speeds up the assembly line at the factory of lies and disinformation.
What did Fox News really learn?
They understand that by planting the seeds for an attack on the Capitol, deliberately lying and misleading the audience, they undermine democracy and all they get is a huge bill as the media arm of a coup attempt.
If a news network misleads its audience into being foot soldiers in a coup attempt, that doesn’t seem to be sending the right message.
The good news is that Dominion was the beginning of the trial. By the time the legal action is taken, Fox News will probably be broke, and maybe someone will have to make a public confession and apology.
