Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Republicans will not push anything but culture war issues because they have no plan to make life better.
Video:
Rep. Ocasio-Cortz was asked to outline the GOP vision on MSNBC’s Insider segment with Jane Psaki.
She replied:
The reason Republicans are focusing on these culture wars and focusing on trans Americans and LGBT Americans and women being fixated on what they do with their bodies is because they have no plans to improve the lives of workers. throughout the country. They don’t just do it.
Basically, we haven’t heard a single thing or idea that would improve people’s material lives. They have no plan on health care, they have no plan on our economy. And to distract from their lack of vision, they are trying to attack the most vulnerable Americans in this country.

The House Republican Caucus is Trump in action. The GOP’s plan is to distract the public that issues meant to divide the country are intellectually empty.
House Republicans would rather talk about trans kids playing sports than talk about inflation and why they want to increase unemployment and cut food aid to the needy with their debt ceiling bill.
The deadline to increase the debt limit is approaching, which is a priority for House Republicans.
House Republicans have been running as if all of America is Fox News, but they’re about to find that culture war distractions won’t go down well if they try to push the country toward destruction.
