John Oliver bashed Anheuser-Busch for not telling the trans BitGoths and the Bud Light protests to go away.

Oliver Anheuser-Busch released a statement after both parties lost their minds over Bud Light’s trans support, saying, “It’s very frustrating to have to put something together when both parties are transferring, and that makes me so angry that I’m about to shoot a non-refundable $65 beer, and Budweiser is just emptying this.” Released a new ad.
The Last Week Tonight host played Bud’s Both Sides ad, “Let me tell you the story of a beer made in America’s heartland. A handshake is a proven contract brought together by generations of people who want to share.” Rather than beer, this is the story of the American spirit.
Oliver took Bud’s announcement to heart, “Well, there’s nothing there and nothing much. They’re obviously too afraid to offend anyone.” The New York City skyline so you can remember. Is that a 9/11 reference to Budweiser? Because when the horse bullets run through the plane and 9/11 feels like an advertisement and the result of feeding an AI program, remember America, freedom, forgiveness.
Last Week Tonight’s host concluded, “This seems like a big mistake for Anheuser-Busch because it’s a chance for you to say it’s not our beer because they’re arrogant when the bigots say they don’t like your beer.” for you”
Oiver was right. It was a pretty cool response from Bud Light’s parent company. A company with some courage would tell the big guys they don’t want their business.
Anheuser-Busch did the right thing and warned other right-wing activists by making an example of MAGA. Something is just not right about the way AB is trying to get both sides of this issue, and is enabling violence by simply not saying that discrimination against trans people has no place with the group.
