President Biden has parted ways with the media, believing he is too old to serve a second term.
Biden video:
Asked about the poll’s finding that many Americans don’t want him to run again because of his age, Biden said:
In terms of age, you know, and in terms of voting data, I notice that the voting data that I’m hearing is between 42 and 46%. There is nothing new about the fact that they are making it look like Joe Biden is actually underwater.
Number two, when the same polling data asks what kind of work I’ve done, it gets the CHIPS Act and 58% very good results — you know, all the things that we’ve done, like I said, we’ve created. We have created 12 million new jobs, created 800,000 manufacturing jobs and are experiencing economic growth.
The climate, we’re at a point where we’ve put more money and more aid into dealing with the climate crisis than any other country in the world. Things are shaking and the reason I’m running again is to finish another job, look, you know, think about what I inherited when I was elected, I inherited a nation and a lot of debt at the time, number one. For the entire four years of his presidency.
I inherited the most disloyalty people in the world, like America first, and you attended the first meeting of the G7, I said America is back, and how long has one leader been there? We’re very concerned about the United States being able to lead the free world, and we’re doing that again, and you’re looking at the election, whether I put NATO and the European Union together.
Polls on Biden’s age and approval ratings don’t reflect what’s really going on. We’ve seen this movie before. The media looks at the polls and says Biden is weak, and then the Democratic coalition turns up and votes for Joe Biden.

Biden has been in public life for more than 50 years, yet the press continues to underestimate him. The criticism of the media is that the president is old. They are not talking about his policies or management failures, just him.
Joe Biden can’t control his age, and if the press continues down this path, they’ll cross the line into old age and destroy viewers, readers, and listeners.
President Biden was not perfect. There’s a list of things that should have been done more, but if the options reflect a Donald Trump return or Joe Biden, Democrats should like Biden’s chances.
