Secret recordings show Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) working to stage a coup that would overturn Biden’s 2020 victory and keep Trump in the White House.
MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber played the Cruz tapes:
In part one, Cruz argued for denying the voter’s certification, saying, “I think the country deserves a credible assessment of these claims and the evidence.” and a method of attempting to compel the denial of certification on the 6th.
The second part of the tapes revealed that Cruz and the Republicans had set up a bogus commission to find voter fraud and decide whether Donald Trump would win a second term if the voter certification was suspended.
Fox’s Maria Battiromo asks Cruz who will be graduating. And “that’s the result of that commission, and that’s what they found, and if they find any credible evidence of fraud in the election results in any state, they’re going to report that.”
Former Trump lawyer John Eastman unsuccessfully fought in court to suppress his email correspondence with Ted Cruz. So there are several indications that Senator Cruz was more deeply involved in the coup plot than he has let on.
If special counsel Jack Smith isn’t investigating members of Congress for their role in the Trump coup plot, the Cruz tapes seem like a good place to start.
There is evidence on tape of a United States senator participating in a conspiracy to overturn a presidential election. Now the question is, what will law enforcement do about this?
