Representative and US Senate candidate Katie Porter (D-CA) has made a big, clear and concise argument for President Biden to win a second term.
Video:
Porter said on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers:
I mean, look, President Biden has a lot of things going for him that are positive, not just, you know, this is not a president who’s going to win because he’s got really thick hair. right? Or very thin shoes. This is the actual accomplishments that make our lives better – this is a running president.
And he goes – he makes insulin for $35. Going to run hoping I can buy a new dishwasher. That’s why I’m voting for him. Thanks to those inflation reduction laws. right? It works on real successes—bringing manufacturing jobs here and ensuring people can afford health care.
So I think he’s going to have an easier time with Trump, but I think it’s going to be hard for all of us to listen and deal with Trump again..
Like me He wrote You can subscribe to the latest issue of The Daily over here , “Unlike Trump or other declared and Republican candidates, Joe Biden offers a clear and promising vision for America’s future,” he said in a video about the president’s re-election launch. Unlike his GOP opponents, the president has a vision for the future.
Biden has a lot to run on. The media is telling him that Biden has framed the negative about him running again. With no claims of incompetence or poor performance outside of his Republican opponents, the only thing the press has rested on is President Biden’s age.
Representative Porter is correct. Biden should have no problem handling Trump. The former president has been buried under a mountain of criminal and legal issues, and his public brand and political skills have eroded.
