It is not known what former Vice President Mike Pence said in his testimony to the Office of Special Counsel Jack Smith, but he fled the courtroom on a red light.

Pence’s appearance came amid heightened security at the federal courthouse in Washington on Thursday. NBC News saw several black SUVs with tinted windows pull into the parking garage that morning. Two black SUVs pulled into the courthouse garage around 9 a.m., which is an entrance that allows witnesses to go to the grand jury chambers on the third floor without being seen in public areas of the courthouse.
The UVs left the court around 4:30 pm
When the SUVs wasted no time getting out of there, one running a red light, it sure wasn’t going to be a fun day in court for the former vice president.
Pence’s testimony came hours later A federal appeals court has rejected Trump’s latest attempt to bar his former vice president from testifying.
Mike Pence has testified for hours and it is known from other investigations and reports that Donald Trump tried to break the law and try to decertify the 2020 election.
Pence was able to avoid the 1/6 committee and other investigations, but he forced Jack Smith to testify, and what Pence said could be scary news for Trump and other coup-seekers.
