MSNBC’s Jane Psacki says Fox News may have a personal problem with Tucker Carlson, but they have no problem with the content.

Psaki said:
In the year When asked to comment on Carlson’s long record of lies and bigotry in 2021, and you’ve heard a lot of it there, Fox News made it clear, we fully support it. They did for years. If you think Tucker’s firing means Fox has seen the light, don’t hold your breath. Don’t judge them for firing Carlson. Judge them whenever they don’t. Judge those who are still putting it in the air. Since Monday’s release, it’s been business as usual for the primetime lineup.

Fox News may have a problem with Tucker himself. His ideas, conspiracies, lies, these blatant white nationalist views were not the entire problem of the network. They supported all that and continued to do so. This is simply who they are.
Fox News didn’t fire Tucker Carlson because it learned its lesson from the Dominion lawsuit. Fox News paid them nothing for their lies and lost two-thirds of their profits for a year. Fox hasn’t decided to go in a new direction.
Fox decided it wanted the lies, misinformation, conspiracy theories, and bigotry on the network, but it didn’t want Tucker Carlson.
Fox News wanted Tucker Carlson without Tucker Carlson.
Jane Psaki was right. Fox has learned nothing, and will not change unless business as usual is profitable.
