CNN normalized the man who tried to overthrow the US government
Donald Trump After losing to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, they tried to overthrow the United States government. Trump is currently under federal criminal investigation for his role in the 1/6 conspiracy. Trump is currently on trial in Manhattan and could be indicted in Georgia for election crimes before the end of the summer.
Outside of the criminal investigation, Trump is currently accused of civil rape by Secretary E. Jean Carroll.
This is the man who decided to give CNN a national television platform. It is the standard of journalistic responsibility to give free media to anyone who is a threat to national security.
Donald Trump should not be treated like any other presidential candidate
No other presidential candidate who has declared for 2024 has attempted a coup. No other 2024 candidate has been charged in a civil rape trial, and no other 2024 presidential candidate has been charged with dozens of crimes. No Another presidential candidate constantly tries to undermine democracy.
Donald Trump is no ordinary candidate. He should be treated as a regular candidate.
The corporate media has seen it sink without Trump to boost its viewership/readership. They seem to want Trump back in power.
1/6 should not be forgotten. Donald Trump cannot be normalized, and this decision will be a stain on CNN for years to come.
