House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer complained that the DOJ was hearing that he was not going to pay Hunter Biden seriously, because he made a conspiracy-filled rant that has since been uncovered.

Chairman Comer said on Fox’s Sunday Morning Future:
We have spent the last hundred days poring over bank documents. I have used subpoenas to obtain these documents. We’ve been meeting with the Bidens’ former allies on their various influencer schemes. We met with the drivers. We know exactly what this family has been up to. And from the media reports we’re getting, what they’re looking at impeaching Hunter Biden is a slap on the wrist. It’s a drop in the bucket. Drop it in the bucket. So Wednesday will be a big day to let the American people know the truth. And then the Justice Department can finally do what it should have done years ago.

Of course the president’s son has committed many crimes, many crimes. I mean, you’re looking at potential money laundering. Jonathan Turley comes on Fox where he says he is, and he says he was – all the time and he says he was basically a foreign agent for countries like China. It is an unregistered foreign agent. These are serious crimes. You have a possible cheat. I mean the list goes on. And again, Maria isn’t just the president’s daughter. And we don’t believe these countries were paying the Biden family for nothing. If we believe they were getting a return on their investment, and that return on investment would have been the policy decisions of then Vice President Joe Biden and current President Joe Biden.
There are some big red flags in Comer’s history.
The Republic said it found evidence that Comer did not have the DOJ, even though the DOJ had been investigating Hunter Biden for five years and Comer for 100 days. The DOJ also has more investigative tools than the House Oversight Committee, but to be sure, James Comer is far smarter than the Justice Department.
When asked what crimes Comer Biden had committed, he did not mention any of the alleged evidence. Instead, they used frequent Fox News guest Jonathan Turlin as evidence.
Comer has no evidence, so he substitutes his opinion for what he thinks happened. Comer claims Biden was running an influence tactic, but where’s the evidence?
Like Jim Jordan, Comer is trying to find evidence to support a predetermined conclusion.
However, its content and lack of evidence make it inescapable even when viewed on the right-wing safe haven of House Republicans, Fox News.
If James Comer is right, the DOJ will not seriously charge Hunter Biden, which will eliminate Republicans because they need to minimize Trump’s criminality by making Biden look bad before the 2024 election.
